The Director of Strategy, Planning and Operations for a technology company’s global sales engineering group was faced with the development and implementation of a long-term strategy and plan.
Solution
Lee-Soy Associates conducted environmental scanning to provide forward-looking analyses of sales engineering trends, best practices, and challenges. We used this information to develop their strategy for and functional plan for world-class sales engineering and implementation plan.
In addition, Lee-Soy Associates worked with the client’s global team leadership to implement the plan and monitor performance to help them attain their objectives.
Challenge
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of a growing management consulting firm sought to increase organizational capacity in the strategy and planning arena.
Solution
As a partner to this consultancy, Lee-Soy Associates provided a range of strategy and planning services enabling several NGOs and a corporate foundation to set direction and improve results. Services included:
- Production and presentation of environmental scanning and insights and facilitated conversations to refresh a foundation’s strategy including vision, mission, areas of focus, objectives, and metrics
- Assessment of a Board of Directors’ culture, governance, and recruitment practices that identified opportunities for improved board governance and succession planning
Challenge
The Chief Marketing Officer of a small, non-profit “digital giving” company needed to develop a pricing strategy resulting from its migration to a new email marketing partner.
Solution
Lee-Soy Associates generated insights about the financial impact resulting from this migration, including a comprehensive analysis of current and future pricing and margin impact for both existing and new customers. Embedded with the client’s team, Lee-Soy Associates built an actionable and scalable email marketing pricing model.

Challenge
The Head of Strategy & Business Intelligence at a Top 5 English Premier League (EPL) football club sought to establish a financial valuation model for comparison against peer clubs.
Solution
Lee-Soy Associates identified and validated a robust multivariate EPL club financial valuation model in support of the client’s strategic analysis.
In addition, we developed a proprietary brand index, comprised of key brand equity performance indicators, helping to broaden the client’s view on ‘brand’ as a key valuation dimension.
